S-2There is a bird that I know, pocket sized and pretty Often times I sit with it listening to is sing Oh how I want to take that bird back home with me But just my luck it flies away back to the home of another So my problem is I want the bird but can't just take I want it to fly to me completely willing But I don't know how happy it is in its cage back home Maybe it does not want to leave its perch to risk looking for another Perhaps I am wasting my time trying to bring this songbird home But then again that's half the fun The chase, the lure, the rush S-2

White RoseIn a barren desert devoid of life There lies a thorny bush in a rocky outcrop Dark and prickly it hides a dark secret it wants no one to find out Hidden beneath layers dark layers of vines Vines barbed to keep others out and away
Lies a single white rose Both beautiful and perfect it tries to hide itself away
Yet beauty of the magnitude should not be squandered away in the dark It must be brought out for all to see
True you do run the risk of the rose pricking you
Or hiding so far away in its thorn bush that you can not find it But if you are lucky enough to even glimpse th White Rose

Reading: The Wheel of Time (again!)
Playing: Battlefield Heroes, Sins of a Solar Empire, KOTOR

So it seems that all my best writing comes late at night. The problem is that I have a good idea for a short story but I'm hitting a writer's block at every turn and if I wait until tonight to write it I'll be to tired to good to school. Damn you writer's block!
